At Recess, we’re all about good coffee, great food, and a relaxed vibe. We roast our coffee locally at Dairy Road in Fyshwick, making sure every cup is fresh, top quality & roasted just the way we like it.

Our menu is made up of simple, no-fuss dishes that hit the spot & homemade sweets that are rotating constantly—whether you’re in for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee break, we’ll have you sorted.

We’re also big on sound, our shop is acoustically treared and we spin vinyl from our collection every day that fills the space courtesy of our hand-made speakers from our friends Pitt and Giblin down in Tassie.
