Hadeso in Guji, Ethiopia - pretty much the classic Ethiopian profile we love.
Hadeso sits up around 1,950m in the Shakisso area of Guji, with coffee coming from around 700 small producers in the surrounding villages. The coffee is processed at Hadeso washing station, which is run by Testi Specialty Coffee, one of MCM’s long-term partners in Ethiopia.
Bright acidity, floral, berries and stone fruit. This one has a really nice herbal and fruity thing going on, with loads of sweetness, tropical acidity and a creamy, velvety body. We’re getting plenty of white peach and strawberry, with some really nice floral notes coming through.
A proper fruity Ethiopian that’s super juicy and just a really fun coffee to drink.
